Since 2018, Nicole has redefined spa services to accommodate and combine classic, traditional methods with sophisticated techniques and updated practices for a revitalized Microspa experience for women of any age.
Nicole provides services from her boutique space in New Paltz, New York. To achieve optimal results, Nicole uses only high-end, medical grade and vegan products for your skin and body, making every visit to the shop a top-notch experience.

*Nicole completed a 2 year case study with scientist Joel Rubin for DCL Skincare in East Haven, Connecticut to launch their chemical peel line into the market. There, she obtained a national training position where she attended trade shows, and educated on behalf of the company. Nicole’s journey continued on to teaching the NYS Esthetics program at Austin’s School of Spa Technology. She officially began her entrepreneurial journey in 2015 operating The Floating Lotus Microspa as a side freelance business, and in 2018, would venture into full time business ownership.
After receiving her Esthetician’s License from the Hudson Valley School of Advanced Esthetic Skincare in 2003, Nicole began a six year working relationship with a busy, professional plastic surgeon’s firm and operated a two year case study accompanied by scientist Joel Rubin with DCL Skincare for a chemical peel line.
Nicole Heaton has been a practicing medical esthetician since her graduation from The Hudson Valley School of Advanced Aesthetic Skin Care in 2004. Prior to pursuing her dream in medical skin care, Nicole was a graduate of New Paltz High School in 1999, and subsequently served a 4 year term in the US Navy complete with honorable discharge in 2003. As an art major in high school, Nicole would discover later on in life that her passion outstretched beyond makeup artistry and into the medical skincare world. After receiving her Esthetician’s License, Nicole worked directly with a busy plastic surgeon’s firm, who she continues to independently affiliate with to to offer her clients a wide range of medical skincare services. A firm believer in building long term and trusting relationships with her clientele, Nicole provides top notch consultative skin care services with prompt follow up, which illustrates her compassion and genuine interest for the well-being of each client. Today, The Floating Lotus Lash Bar offers an array of services that display a fine fusion of medical and holistic services & skincare from eyelash extensions, lash lifts and tinting, microblading, pmu services such as powder brows; ombre brows & lip blush tattoo, brow lamination, brow henna, tinting, facials, chemical peels, LED light therapy, waxing, microdermabrasion, high frequency facials and more.

Amy is a natural born artist with much passion for the industry. She is a portrait artist making brows her specialty. Amy is Borboleta certified in Classic and Volume Lashes. She is also certified in facials, lash lifts, brow lamination, tinting and waxing. Amy has always loved the beauty industry and self care. She also loves to cook!

Camilla is a California native and a Licensed Esthetician with over 2 years of lash experience. Specializing in classic, volume, and hybrid lashes, Camilla values safety and intentionality in her work, focusing on each client’s individual expression through their desired service. She is a cat mom and a foodie who is always excited to take a spin class.

Molly has been a licensed esthetician since 2018, with a focus in skincare and brows. Molly strives to provide quality service, while building genuine connection with each of her clients. She offers facials, waxing, brow lamination, lash lifts, tinting, and both classic and volume eyelash extensions. Molly is a mom to two young children and loves to explore the outdoors!

Sabrina is a Licensed esthetician. A recent graduate from Capri Cosmetology school. She Specializes in lash extensions (Volume, classic and hybrid) and waxing. Sabrina’s passion is helping her clients achieve their desired look and feel beautiful with the most innovative techniques. Her goal is to provide customized services to each of her clients, giving them the best experience using her skills and her upbeat attitude. When she is not slaying lashes, she enjoys makeup artistry. Sabrina is also Mommy to a 3 year old little boy.

She is a part time student at the Aveda Institute in NYC, working to get her esthetician license. Arianna loves all things beauty and enjoys helping others feel their best! She loves animals and has a passion for music.
